The Jharkhand Orthopaedic Association was formally established in 2007 and registered under the Societies Registration Act 21, 1860 (Reg. No. 126, June 3, 2013). Recognised as the 20th State Chapter of IOA in December 2013.
With 124 life members and annual conferences held every year since inception (except 2009), JOA has grown into a central pillar of orthopaedic advancement in the state.
